IN THE MOUTH, THE ELEGANT ROASTED HINTS OF OUR 1906 RESERVA ESPECIAL COMBINE WITH THE SENSATIONS FORMED BY THE LACK OF PASTEURISATION AND IMPULSE GAS DURING POURING. EXCELLENT DRINKABILITY AND PERFECT CARBONATION MAKE FOR A TRULY UNIQUE EXPERIENCE.
A German-inspired lager in Helles Bock style, our Special Reserve embodies our unique character and long-standing beer tradition (and a tribute to 5 generations of the “Rivera Family” and more than 110 years of brewing tradition).
Crafted from two types of malts (Pilsen and roasted), as well as Spanish Perle hops, this beer stands out for its delightfully elegant toasted notes and has a longer maturation period than the majority of Spanish lagers.
Notes of bread, caramel and smoky sensations. Slightly acidic hints with a delightfully bitter finish that is an invitation to the next sip.
To accompany this beer, we have selected octopus in extra virgin olive oil from Conservas Currimar.
The smoothness, freshness and elegant bitterness of roasted malt and hops that characterise our 1906 beer pair to perfection with the intense flavour, firm texture and penetrating aromas of the sea of the octopus.
In the mouth, the intense roasted sensations are cooled by the slightly acidic hints and bitter finish. Each sip clears the palate and is an invitation to continue enjoying this delicious beer.
In addition to keeping the beer chilled, the classic tanks allow for the beer to be pulled without the need for impulsion gas. This system is essential to ensure the beer retains the same level of carbonation as when it left our brewery.
From the first to the last glass.
Soft water from the city of A Coruña, Pilsen and roasted malts, Perle Hallertau variety hops and our lager yeast strain.
